Weiqiao Textile always regards science and technology innovation as the core strategy for development, and continues to increase investment in this area, while strengthening the cooperation between industry, academia and research. The Company has extensive cooperation with National Textile Product Development Center, China Textile Engineering Society, Wuhan Textile University, and Tianjin Polytechnic University, as well as other educational or research institutions specializing in textile. Weiqiao Textile also carries out research on market demand and fashion trends, while promoting product development, technology innovation, innovative design, application of research results, and talent training. The Company cooperates with Ningbo Institute of Materials and Elas Tech (韌和科技) in fields such as smart clothing, wearable technology, exercise and health monitoring, and so on, realizing the industrialization and application of "elastic electronic technology + textile, garment". The Company also works with Donghua University in the development of "micro-nano mosaic spinning", and involves in the "Key Technology and Application of Intelligent and Green Bacteriostatic Textile Manufacturing" project together with Donghua University, Qingdao University, and other institutions.
Weiqiao Textile attaches great importance to the promotion of automation and intelligence, constantly acculturates intelligent transformation, and builds green and intelligent factories. The Company’s proprietary Weiqiao Textile I3.0 system has established a unique expert knowledge base, cotton assorting system, seamless fiber regional logistics system, on-line quality monitoring system, and a 5G-based high-speed network data flow system, realizing "intelligent production", "intelligent control system", "online monitoring informatization" and "green manufacturing process", and basically achieving "unmanned" production. During the period of " The 14th Five-Year Plan", the Company will accelerate the pace of digital transformation, build intelligent factory, transform and upgrade its stock of assets, vigorously promote unattended and short process intelligent spinning factory and intelligent weaving production line, striving for a full intelligentization.
